Booster vaccine doses are available on the NHS for people most at risk from COVID-19 who have already had 2 doses of a vaccine. You are eligible for a booster dose after 6 months after you had your 2nd dose.
๐ง๐ต๐ผ๐๐ฒ ๐ฒ๐น๐ถ๐ด๐ถ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ ๐ถ๐ป๐ฐ๐น๐๐ฑ๐ฒ:
people aged 40 and over
people who live and work in care homes
frontline health and social care workers
people aged 16 and over with a health condition that puts them at high risk of getting seriously ill from COVID-19
carers aged 16 and over
people aged 16 and over who live with someone who is more likely to get infections (such as someone who has HIV, has had a transplant or is having certain treatments for cancer, lupus or rheumatoid arthritis)
How to get a booster:
There are a number of sites across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire delivering the booster jab. You can book an appointment on the NHS website https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/coronavirus-vaccination/book-coronavirus-vaccination/or by calling 119.
GP Practices are also able to provide your Covid booster vaccine at planned clinics run by the GP Practice staff.
We are pleased to advise you that Ivy Medical Group will be holding regular Covid booster clinics during the coming weeks, you will receive an invite by text message or by telephone from the practice to book in when eligible.
